Window cleaning Health & Safety
Putting Safety First in Every Clean
Our Unwavering Commitment to Safety
From working on a single apartment block or across an entire commercial complex, safety is our highest priority. We take proactive steps to protect:
- Our team of professional window cleaners
- The property
- Your residents, staff, and the public
All Clean London integrates safety into every phase of our service, from planning to execution.
Risk Assessment & Method Statements (RAMS)
Before we begin any job, we carry out a site-specific risk assessment and create a tailored method statement.
Each RAMS document outlines how the job will be carried out safely, including any control measures, access plans, and PPE requirements.
We’ll also coordinate with facilities or building managers to minimise disruption during working hours.
Expert Leadership
Our Health & Safety Manager, Brydie Riordan, leads our internal systems to ensure every team member is trained, certified, and following the correct procedures.
Her role spans everything from policy design to site inspections and post-job reviews. She works closely with our on-site Operations Managers to ensure safe, consistent delivery on every project. Learn more about our dedicated team on the about us page.Â
High Access Protocols
Our services often involve working at height or using specialist equipment, both of which carry real risks if mishandled. That’s why our rope access and cradle work is always supervised by IRATA Level 3 technicians, including our lead specialists Shane Hull and Charlie Curtis.
These roles aren’t just technical, they carry full responsibility for job safety, on-the-ground decision making, and team welfare during high-level cleans.
We also operate and maintain a fleet of cherry pickers and mobile platforms, ensuring all machinery is properly certified and handled by trained operatives.
Ongoing Maintenance
Our equipment is only as safe as its last inspection. We have a strict maintenance programme covering everything from abseiling gear and anchor points to telescopic poles and water systems.
Eyebolts and other safety fixtures are tested regularly, both for our own use and as part of our client services.
Every member of our team receives continuous training. This includes refresher courses on health and safety regulations, equipment handling, working at height, and emergency procedures. James Wood, our team leader, ensures every cleaner is equipped with the latest knowledge and meets all current certifications.
Trusted accreditations
We hold several recognised safety accreditations, including CHAS and SafeContractor, and follow all relevant UK regulations including: The Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Work at Height Regulations 2005 and LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment Regulations). Our team is also fully insured, giving our clients peace of mind on every job, big or small.
