One West Point
About the Project
One West Point, formerly known as Portal West, is one of West London’s most significant residential high-rise developments.
Located on Portal Way in North Acton, the development comprises four towers surrounding a central courtyard, with the tallest, the Icon Tower, rising to 184 metres, making it one of the tallest residential buildings in West London.
All Clean London is currently on site carrying out window cleaning works across the development, working across multiple levels to restore clarity and brighten living spaces for residents throughout the building.
The Challenge
A development of One West Point’s scale and height presents considerable access challenges. With four towers of varying heights and a central courtyard configuration, no single cleaning method covers the full site.
Working on an occupied residential development also means scheduling and safety management are critical, residents must be able to go about their daily lives without disruption, and all work at height must be carried out to the highest safety standards.
The Solution
All Clean London deployed abseiling teams to carry out window cleaning across One West Point’s upper levels, with our IRATA-certified rope access operatives working down the towers’ exteriors to clean windows across multiple floors simultaneously.
Safety barriers and exclusion zones were established at ground level throughout all works, ensuring resident and public safety at all times.
The central courtyard configuration required careful access planning, with our teams coordinating across multiple elevations of the development to deliver a consistent, high-quality clean across all four towers.
The Result
All Clean London is delivering window cleaning across One West Point, helping residents of one of West London’s tallest residential developments enjoy cleaner, brighter living spaces, maintained safely and professionally at every level of the building.
