Greenwich Peninsula is one of London’s most significant residential developments, comprising 20 apartment blocks ranging from low-rise buildings to towers of 30 storeys. Located in the London Borough of Greenwich, the development is home to hundreds of residents and requires a cleaning contractor that can operate across a diverse range of building heights and facade types to a consistently high standard.
The Challenge
A development of this scale and variety presents a complex logistical challenge. With buildings ranging from low-rise to 30 storeys, no single access method covers the entire site. Schedules and timetables must be strictly followed to minimise disruption to residents, and the standard of work must remain consistent across every block regardless of height or access difficulty.
The Solution
All Clean London manages window cleaning across the full Greenwich Peninsula development, deploying the appropriate access method for each building. Lower-rise blocks are serviced using water-fed pole systems, while the taller residential towers require specialist high-level access through cradle and abseiling techniques.
Our IRATA-certified rope access operatives carry out abseiling cleans on the development’s tallest structures, with cradle systems used where the building’s configuration allows. All work is carried out by our directly employed, fully trained teams, not subcontractors, ensuring a consistent quality of service and a reliable schedule that residents and building managers can depend on.
